The Reine de Naples collection, inspired by the first wristwatch crafted for Queen Caroline Murat, Napoleon Bonaparte’s sister, continues to captivate with its elegance and craftsmanship. For Valentine’s Day 2025, Breguet unveils a stunning reinterpretation of this iconic timepiece, adorned with diamonds, pink sapphires, and rubies, symbolizing love and sophistication.
The dial of this exquisite watch is crafted from high-quality mother-of-pearl, known for its iridescent beauty. Light refracts through the delicate material, creating a mesmerizing play of colors that shifts with every angle. Extracted from the central part of nacreous shells, the mother-of-pearl is meticulously polished and shaped to fit the watch’s elegant oval design.
Breguet showcases its gem-setting expertise with a dazzling display of 54 brilliant-cut diamonds on the flange, transitioning into 18 gradient pink sapphires. At the base of the dial, a heart-shaped motif set with 23 red rubies adds a romantic touch. The gradient effect, from light pink sapphires to deep red rubies, symbolizes the intensity of love.
The 18k white gold case, fluted on the sides, is adorned with 45 hand-set diamonds, while the crown features a cabochon-cut ruby. The watch’s proportions—28.45mm in diameter, 36.5mm in length, and 10.4mm in height—are perfectly balanced for a feminine aesthetic. The round lug attachment, set with 52 snow-set diamonds, adds a touch of brilliance.
Powered by Breguet’s in-house automatic movement, the watch offers a 45-hour power reserve and operates at a frequency of 3.5Hz. The sapphire crystal caseback reveals the intricate mechanics, including a platinum rotor with hand-guilloché decoration and a silicon balance spring, ensuring precision and durability.
The Reine de Naples 9915 is paired with a red alligator leather strap and a white gold folding clasp set with 28 diamonds. Limited to just 28 pieces, this timepiece is a true collector’s item, blending artistry, history, and romance into a single masterpiece.
