Fedor Smolov, a forward for Krasnodar, has announced a reward for any information that can help recover his stolen expensive watch. The watch, worth around ₽8 million, was stolen from his locker in Kazan during an away match against Rubin. Smolov has called on anyone with information about the incident to report it to him.
"If you have any useful information, please message me on Telegram. There will be a reward, and complete anonymity is guaranteed," Smolov said.
The stolen watch can be seen in a photo on Smolov's Instagram account, where he is seen wearing it while holding his daughter. However, Instagram is banned in Russia, as it is owned by Meta, a company that has been deemed extremist in Russia.
The missing watch is believed to be a platinum Royal Oak from the limited edition by Audemars Piguet. The incident was reported on November 14th, after the match against Rubin.
In a separate incident, comedian Ruslan Beliy, who fled to Spain, was robbed while in emigration.
