A renowned watchmaker, Brellum, known for its emphasis on chronometer-certified movements, has unveiled its newest timepiece, the Duobox 39 Chronometer. This watch is housed in a compact 39mm case and is available in blue, silver, or grey dials, with each color limited to just 46 pieces.
The Duobox 39 Chronometer is a departure from Brellum's typical cam-and-lever movements, as it is powered by a cutting-edge automatic 4Hz chronograph movement with a column wheel. This movement, known as the BR-110, provides enhanced performance and a power reserve of 60 hours.
The design of the Duobox 39 Chronometer is reminiscent of vintage timepieces, with its retro-inspired case featuring piston-style pushers and box-shaped sapphire crystals on both the front and back. These crystals protrude above the case, contributing to its thickness and adding a touch of nostalgia.
The dial of the Duobox 39 Chronometer features a tricompax layout, with sub-dials for the 30-minute totalizer at 3 o'clock, 12-hour totalizer at 6 o'clock, and small seconds at 9 o'clock. The sunray-brushed dial also includes a pulsometer scale and a precision minutes track. The applied diamond-cut hour markers and hands are treated with Super-LumiNova for improved legibility.
The caseback of the Duobox 39 Chronometer is screw-down and features six indented areas with polished inscriptions. The watch comes with a black calfskin leather strap and a stainless steel bracelet in the package. It is water-resistant up to 100m.
The Duobox 39 Chronometer is a limited edition timepiece, with only 46 pieces produced for each color variant. It can be ordered exclusively online from November 15, 2024.
