With its latest Navy SEALs Submersible collection, Panerai showcases a range of watches that exude the spirit of special forces. The collection features four watches that immediately bring to mind the image of special forces operators. The watches have degraded black to anthracite dials, beige desert camouflage-inspired Super-Luminova, and bullseye-style small seconds counters. The Navy SEALs emblem is laser-engraved onto the solid casebacks of all four models.
The Submersible QuarantaQuattro Navy SEALs PAM01518 is the simplest model in the collection. Despite not having a date display, this watch is powered by the P.900 automatic calibre and is water-resistant up to 300 metres. The power reserve rating is three days.
The Submersible Chrono Navy SEALs Titanio PAM01521 is the most complicated watch in the collection. It features a flyback chronograph with a specialized function that allows the chronograph minute hand to be set back one minute at a time. The watch is cased in DLC-titanium and is water-resistant up to 500 metres. Only 80 pieces of this watch will be produced.
The other two watches in the collection are the Submersible QuarantaQuattro GMT Navy SEALs Carbotech PAM01513 and the Submersible Navy SEALs Titanio PAM01669. Both watches have unique features such as a GMT function and a time-and-date display. The PAM01513 has a Carbotech case and is water-resistant up to 500 metres, while the PAM01669 has a bezel made of Carbotech, and the rest of the watch is made of brushed titanium. Both watches have automatic calibres and a power reserve of three days.
All four watches in the collection are exclusive to Panerai boutiques and are currently available. The PAM01521 is a limited edition with only 80 pieces produced, making it highly sought after by collectors.
