No Windup Watch Fair would be complete without Lorier. Since the brand’s introduction six years ago, they have become a fixture of the show and a staple for watch enthusiasts. Another brand that made its mark at the fair was Baltic, a French independent brand founded in 2016. Baltic offers a wide variety of vintage inspired watches, assembled in France.
The Windup Watch Fair in New York City 2024 was the biggest and best yet, with over 140 brands in attendance and tens of thousands of guests. Although it was impossible to cover everything at the fair, the focus was on six new brands that were making their debut. One of the standout brands was Trafford Watch Co, who sponsored this episode of A Week in Watches. They showcased their new Touring GMT, which is inspired by the spirit of musicians and their fans. The Touring GMT features independent hour and GMT hands, allowing for seamless tracking of time in different time zones. It comes in three colorways inspired by American music venues.
