Israeli Army Announces Strikes on Hezbollah Targets in Beirut

2024-09-29 // SuperPodium
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced that they will carry out strikes on Hezbollah targets in Beirut in the coming hours.

The representative of the Israeli Defense Forces, Brigadier General Daniel Hagari, announced the impending strikes on underground strategic assets of Hezbollah in the southern suburb of Beirut. He stated that they plan to target the strategic objects that were placed by Hezbollah in the underground infrastructure beneath three buildings in central Dahiyeh.

This announcement came after the Iranian Embassy in Lebanon criticized Israel's airstrikes in Beirut and stated that the "culprits will be punished". Additionally, Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, called for an emergency meeting of the National Security Council of Iran in his residence.

The Israeli government has also urged residents of two districts in the suburbs of Beirut to evacuate the area. Khamenei expressed his support for Hezbollah, stating that all resistance forces in the Middle East support the group.

An expert on the Middle East commented on the situation, stating that Hezbollah will not be eliminated and will continue its resistance. Meanwhile, in Russia, two cases have been opened against Ukrainian soldiers who invaded the Kursk region, and the decision on the poisoning case of a family in Krasnoyarsk will be based on expert findings.

Another news report mentioned the explosion at a gas station near Makhachkala, which claimed the lives of 13 people, including two children. In four regions of Russia, air defense systems successfully shot down seven Ukrainian drones during the night and morning hours.

The Russian Navy's program to construct new frigates of the 22350 project is in progress, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergey Lavrov, stated that subjecting all Palestinians to collective punishment is unacceptable concerning the situation in Gaza. Furthermore, more countries are expressing interest in the BRICS cooperation as an alternative world organization.

In a separate incident, the father of the poisoned family in Krasnoyarsk admitted that the house was poorly ventilated after using a pesticide. The Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "TV-News" holds the rights to this article, which was registered with Roskomnadzor on August 14, 2020.
