Donald Trump, the US presidential candidate, has recently begun promoting his new collection of watches ahead of the upcoming elections. According to Forbes magazine, the most expensive timepieces in the collection cost a six-digit figure.
In a social media post, Trump assured his followers that the watches are "truly special" and would make great Christmas gifts. The most expensive model in the collection is the Tourbillon, priced at $100,000. It is described as being "almost entirely made of 18-carat gold and adorned with 122 diamonds." Only 147 units of this watch have been produced, available in three different colors. The model comes with two back covers, one of which displays a unique personalized message, "Thank you," from Trump.
A more affordable option, the Fighter model, is offered in a gold plated stainless steel case for $799 or a stainless steel case for $499.
According to CNN, Trump has earned millions of dollars by selling merchandise with his name and image since he entered the presidential race almost two years ago. One of his most profitable ventures was a licensing agreement with NFT INT, a company that sells digital images of Trump. The agreement reportedly brought in $7.2 million in revenue.
Aside from watches, the US presidential candidate has also released a line of gold sneakers, written two books, and launched "Trump coins," which are silver medallions featuring his face on one side and his signature on the other.
The presidential elections will take place on November 5th in the United States. The main candidates for the position of president are Democratic vice president Kamala Harris and former Republican White House leader Donald Trump. Harris became a contender for the highest state office after the current US president, Joe Biden, dropped out of the race.
