Renowned historian and watch expert, Nicholas Foulkes, has authored a 252-page book that documents the history of one of the brand's most recognizable models. The book, titled "Oyster Perpetual Submariner - The Watch That Unlocked The Deep", delves into the evolution of Rolex Submariner and its significance in the world of diving.
Arnaud Boetsch, Rolex's Director of Communications and Image, comments, "Submariner, the archetype of diver's watches, symbolizes the historical connection between Rolex and underwater exploration. Over time, they have become iconic timepieces that are famous both within and beyond the realms of the marine world."
The hardcover edition of the book, priced at £100 (approximately $132), will be available in selected retail stores on October 1st, in both English and French. A limited edition in silk binding is available for pre-order exclusively at the Wallpaper* boutique from September 16th to 19th.
