American entrepreneur and pilot, Jared "Rook" Isaacman, piloted the MiG-29 and is also the commander of the Polaris Dawn mission.
The Polaris Dawn crew was set to embark on a five-day mission aboard a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft, flying higher than any previous Dragon mission.
The watches, donated by IWC, will be auctioned off at Christie's New York to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
This collaboration between IWC and SpaceX is not their first, as they previously worked together for the Inspiration4 mission.
The four Polaris Dawn watches feature a white ceramic case, a Caliber 69380 automatic movement, and unique caseback engravings for each astronaut.
The watches also have dark blue lacquered dials with printed stars and the Polaris Dawn mission logo.
As part of the mission, the team will conduct the first-ever commercial astronaut spacewalk using the new SpaceX Extravehicular Activity suit.
The watches will be auctioned off as a set, with all proceeds going towards St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
The Polaris Dawn mission aims to push the boundaries of space exploration while also making positive progress on Earth.
Stay tuned for updates on the success of the mission and the final amount raised at the Christie's auction.
