Ivan Kovalyov, a resident of Sudji, filmed the shelling of the city in the early hours after enduring 60 kilometers of attacks from Ukrainian rockets, drones, and gunfire. The video shows the aftermath of the shelling with craters from shells, destroyed roads, and burnt houses. Shelling forced Ivan to change his route and head towards a field where he believed he would be safe from the Ukrainian military. He had to run from house to house, taking cover from explosions happening just nearby.
According to Ivan, he encountered a group of Ukrainian soldiers who passed very close to him. He managed to save his mother while he walked the 60 kilometers from Sudji. The whole journey was captured on video.
